ORGANIC SHEA BUTTER- Healing
Shea butter has great healing properties. It is often used as a base in medicinal ointment due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Do to the presence of several fatty acids and plant sterile such as oleic, palmitic, stearic, and linoleic acids Shea butter is known to possess some healing properties. These oil soluble components do not undergo saponification or convert into soap on coming in contact with alkali. Shea butter is more non-saponifiable than other nut oils and fats, thus imparting it a great healing potential for the skin. Raw, unrefined Shea butter is effective in curing rashes, skin peeling after tanning, scars, stretch, mark, frostbite, burns, athletes foot, insect bites and stings, Arthritis, and muscle fatigue.

ORGANIC SUNFLOWER OIL- Hydrating
The components of sunflower oil mainly consist of oleic and linoleic acids. Sunflower seed oil contains relatively higher linoleic acid concentration relative to olive oil. This property makes sunflower oil a suitable ingredient in skin products due to the positive benefits of linoleic acid. Sunflower seed oil has been shown to preserve SC integrity and improve hydration of the adult skin without inducing erythema. Linoleic acid serves as an agonist at peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-alpha (PPAR-a), which enhances keratinocyte proliferation and lipid synthesis. This in turn enhances skin barrier repair. Natural oils such as sunflower, sesame, or safflower seed oil have been suggested as good options for their use in promoting skin barrier homeostasis.

ORGANIC BEESWAX- Protective barrier
The skin serves to shield against external threats like sunlight and bacteria, with the outer layer, the stratum corneum (SC), crucial for preventing water loss due to these factors. Occlusives such as petrolatum and mineral oil help by forming a protective barrier on the SC. Despite being effective, petrolatum products can feel greasy. Alternatives like beeswax, along with other substances such as lanolin, paraffin, and various natural oils, are commonly used in cosmetics for similar occlusive purposes.
Beeswax, like petroleum, creates a barrier on the skin, offering protection against irritants. Studies have shown the effectiveness of beeswax-containing formulations in maintaining skin barrier integrity. For instance, a study by Frosch et al. in 2003 compared the efficacy of barrier creams and moisturizers in dental laboratory technicians prone to irritant contact dermatitis. Results showed that moisturizers containing beeswax outperformed commercial barrier creams in improving skin condition and reducing water loss through the skin. Specifically, beeswax-containing moisturizers demonstrated superior performance compared to traditional barrier creams, with statistically significant reductions in transepidermal water loss (TEWL) observed. These findings highlight the efficacy of beeswax-containing products in protecting and enhancing skin health.

PEPPERMINT OIL- Anti-bacterial
In test tubes, peppermint kills some types of bacteria, fungi, and viruses, suggesting it may have antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Menthol and methyl salicylate, the main ingredients in peppermint, have antispasmodic effects, with calming effects on the gastrointestinal tract. Itching and Skin Irritation Peppermint, when applied topically, has a soothing and cooling effect on skin irritation caused by hives, poison ivy, or poison oak. Colds and Flu Peppermint and its main active agent, menthol, are effective decongestants. Because menthol thins mucus, it is also a good expectorant, meaning it helps loosen phlegm and breaks up coughs. It is soothing and calming for sore throats (pharyngitis) and dry coughs.
